About the Festival
The first festival in West Wales dedicated to the art of live looping in music, our festival is part of an ongoing worldwide series which, over the last 16 years, has spread to over 30 cities in eleven countries.

What is Live Looping?
Live looping is a way of making music in which the musician records samples of sound and has them play back as loops. Multiple layers of loops can be added or taken away and manipulated in many different ways. Looping artists perform this process live, creating multi-layered compositions in real time. The equipment used can be dedicated devices called loopers, or computer software, often running on a laptop.
If that description of live looping doesn't immediately make sense, have a look at this wonderful video of Imogen Heap performing a live looped version of her song Just For Now, and all will become clear!
